To continue to be the local option for cancer care, W. Temple Webber Cancer Center will be installing a Varian Tru-Beam linear accelerator with Rapid Arc Technology to replace the exsisting Varian 2300 EX Linear accelerator, allowing us to upgrad to the most current technology available. The installation will require $3 million, a warranted investment to fight cancer in our community. Among the advantages of the new linear accelerator is the significant decrease in treatment time, resulting in more comfort for patients.
